Minutes from Tampa International Airport and St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport, Cavallino Farms is a lovely, full board, boutique barn conveniently located in the heart of Pinellas county between St. Petersburg and Clearwater. We offer discerning horse owners a new option in care for their horse.
Our barn is built to Cat 5 standards and offers an airy, H-style stall barn design. It has (20) 12x12 matted stalls with outdoor rated industrial fans. Ten stalls have 16x12 run outs and three stalls have oversized 16x24 run outs. We have six “inside” stalls, two with west-facing windows. We offer plenty of turnout space, feed dropped 3x daily, private electric entry gate, security cameras and surveillance system, individual tack lockers, wash rack, round pen, lightning rods, and a beautiful, large 80/20 sand/ clay, well-drained arena. We are also accessible to trails and the beautiful Helen Howarth Equestrian Park.
Boarders may choose the type and amount of hay and grain you prefer to feed your horse. Not sure? We can help guide you and are happy to accomodate special feeding requests, including supplements you provide. We welcome your vet and farrier or can advise you.

Boarding Options
We currently offer Full Board. However, we do things a little differently. Everything is a la carte as follows:
Dry stall with 12x16 run out - $410
Dry stall (no run out) - $385
Dry stall with 12x24 run out - $440
Daily cleaning, unlimited shavings, and turn out 7 days/week - $320 / month. This is paid directly to our caretaker, who you contract with to provide care for your horse. She also provides other services as needed such as blanketing, holding for vet or farrier, giving medicines, bathing, grooming, etc.
You provide feed and hay of your choice, all of which we order and have delivered for you at no extra charge. Hay is delivered weekly and you pay the hay vendor directly. Prices are listed on the order board in our feed room. Feed can be purchased at one of two of our local feed stores. You set up an account and we will pick it up as needed and notify you. Or you can bring your own.
